... or the one about "What's this blog all aboot?".

You’ll notice that each and every post here starts with a tagline: …or the one about ___. This is something I did way back in antiquity (in internet time at least) when I had a blog (before they were called blogs, it was called a personal website, kids) on iet.pct.edu. I wrote the software from scratch on that first blog, and it used the same format. So where does the format come from… Why JWZ. If you don’t know who JWZ is, you probably didn’t have a giant poster of mozilla stomping the IE logo on your wall back in 1997.

That being said, with my true origins of a blogger having been recited aloud, let us continue in a more friendly format.

Who are you?
I’m Matt.

What do you do?
I’m a sysadmin for a living. But I play games, take photos, travel, create, explore and cognate for fun.

What gear do you use?
A fully watercooled PC, Dell 2407WFP, Nikon D80, and lots of tools and spare parts.

Will you tell me your secrets?
Maybe. It can’t hurt to ask.

Are you an artist?
Yes, but not in an official capacity. Yet. This is me and my writing, thoughts and photography on my own terms, at my speed. The art, if you will, is catalyst for change and therefor not fully tangible.

Are you insane?
Yes, but not in an official capacity. Yet.

Are you open to constructive comments?
Yes - I welcome comments. If you judge it prudent to post a technical breakdown of good and bad of any particular post, that is more than welcome. If you’re compelled to voice your like or dislike, don’t be shy - you don’t have to justify your thoughts with lengthy discourse.
